Recurring Tasks

Sometimes you may find yourself needing to mark a Task as complete only to raise another Task for the next time you have to do that action. These recurring Tasks might happen when there is a regular sales review or their is a contract that requires regular documentation to be produced.

To deal with recurring Tasks inside RealtimeCRM simply raise a Task as normal and then, when you are ready to mark it a complete use the Complete and reschedule button.

Rescheduling a Task

View the Task that you want to reschedule and then press the Complete and reschedule button.

This will:

  • Mark the current task as complete
  • Open a form that will allow you to edit any additional details
  • Set the date for the next task

The Task will be added a new Task, associated with the same entity (Company, Contact, Opportunity etc) as your original Task.
